Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) – UTAS
We are proud to support our friends at the University of Tasmania who are starting an “EMIG”.
“Emergency Medicine Interest Groups” are popular in the States and Canada where many students are keen to get stuck in the world of Emergency Medicine early on in their careers.
The ED is a great environment for learning in terms of the “undifferentiated patient” and the typical department has several great teachers to facilitate workshops for students that are relevant to the practice of Emergency Medicine.
Our experience of having an EMIG in Western Sydney has been second to none. EMIG has been going since 2008 and it gets better every year. We sincerely hope that the new UTas group blossoms and that YOU can help them by not only liking them on Facebook but attending their inaugural event next week:
